Wonder why there is live earth happening all around the globe ? Wonder why is there cases of people dying from heat strokes ? Wonder what is going around the world ? Here's what's really happening.. None of this incidents happen by chance .. It's either we as the youth of today step forward in the fight against the environmental issues now or there wouldnt be a next gen in the years ahead ..

If you may ask me what's so serious about the environmental issues ? Well , i would say without the earth giving us the abundant supply of air and the land to build what is called our home there will be no humanism on earth ..

"Global warming is already causing damage in many parts of the United States. In 2002, Colorado, Arizona and Oregon endured their worst wildfire seasons ever.

Since the early 1950s, snow accumulation has declined 60 percent and winter seasons have shortened in some areas of the Cascade Range in Oregon and Washington.

Even though we live in a small country in singapore . Small , Peaceful , Disaster-Free ... But we must not take all this we have for granted. and Because we live in such a peaceful country , we should slow our pace in keeping up with the environmental efforts the society have provided us with. We must act fast and bring this environmental issue up to not just a society issue but as a global issue. I truly felt that we could do something for the environment even if it's just the smallest bit of our daily lifes. It must be an action that is always carried out in our daily life.. ever moment every minute every time you do a task always think of the effect it will have on the environment in the long run..
The Earth is yours to protect or to destroy . The Choice lies in you .
Here a tip on How to really do your part in the world's effort to protect the environment.
"There are many simple steps you can take right now to cut global warming pollution. Make conserving energy a part of your daily routine. Each time you choose a compact fluorescent light bulb over an incandescent bulb, for example, you'll lower your energy bill and keep nearly 700 pounds of carbon dioxide out of the air over the bulb's lifetime. By opting for a refrigerator with the Energy Star label -- indicating it uses at least 15 percent less energy than the federal requirement -- over a less energy-efficient model, you can reduce carbon dioxide pollution by nearly a ton in total. Actually , I propose to have some sort of an activity to promote awareness to people around us .
Not just within the gakkai but beyond to the people all around us .
We could either have a Green Campaign that we can propose and held some exhibition on a large scale throughout the major town and cities in singapore and bring people closer to this awareness .
Or We could have some reduce reuse recycle program to collect all of the items that can be recycled . Since the media is already stressing very much on environment issues , i think it will be high time for us to do our part by responding back to them .
I could have some suggestion on what can be done to be even better .. thanks .. would like some feedbacks on my tagboard .. thanks alot for those who care .

Nyp Polaris !

Today is the nyp polaris !! Woots ~ I dare say it's kind of touching to see the number of people who turn up for today's polaris .. It's amazing how we all manage to get through the busy schedule we all have and really sit down for our polaris . As this marks the graduated batch leavers , we are pretty sad to have them go =( But nevertheless , I enjoy the time i have in polaris alot ... I've learn quite a number of stuffs from people in Nyp .

So sori about not having the group photo posted.. I will try to get it asap and upload into my blog ..

and you guys know what ?

This SUNDAY is our institution meeting .

and this shall be my first time becoming a mcee .. sigh.. it's impromtu !!! oh man.. im so stress right now i can literally tear my hair apart..

Updates : Milkrun , 07/07/07 , Post Milkrun celebrations ...

Milkrun

sori peeps .. i aint got any pics on the milkrun.. hehe sorry about that.. but all i can share is basically for those of u who do not know about the milkrun basically it's a run specially for kids whose parents are either divorce or simply put they are a kids who need our love more than us . I participate in the milkrun mainly because of one thing .. that is to gain experience in sharing joy with people around me ..

Milk run basically stands for Mainly.I.Love.Kids and is a charity run organised by the beyond social service . It's held on july first . It's a 4km run for me. besides having the run , there is a bazaar going on and some performance going on around the area Zouk where the run is held.. For your info , im part of the action in the performance . Well , actually im a trainer for the mass dance item there , it was after alot of struggles that i manage to break through myself. im glad to be part of the trainers . it sure make me grow , especially the way i express myself more than i could . at first , i was very quiet and often at times doesnt like to talk much

to people around me but well , i did change didnt i ? sometimes a big change is what life is all about . you have to experience it to know it. ..



it's fun being a trainer and i miss not having my comrades by my side .. hope there will be more activities such as this so i could be in it !!

Well , before i go further let me explain this part a little as it might get confusing later on .. Just to say this , im actually part of my religion which is Soka . Soka is actually a buddhist organisation that practices chanting nam.myoho.renge.kyo . So actually on this day itself , it's our soka organisation 40th aniversary . We have a performance at the singapore indoor stadium . it's a big event for us and everyone is so excited about it . well , im part of the parade and im actually representing the student division in soka for a marchpast . To think of it , the practice for me is actually quite short as i only manage to practice for the day before the actual day .. it was fun though .. and i have to explain because i was part of the milkrun so i actually aint got time to practice only after the milkrun was over .. that explain why that period of time i was actually having so much activities and have to be excused from school all the while.. the march past was great.. after the marchpast practically we have nothing else to do as we are part of the first item to start the ball rolling for the other performances .. one thing to mention , before the show started i was actually film .. haha.. guess that was a conincidence.. i was film for the 40th aniversary video .. it's actually prepared for our mentor , ikeda sensei . i was kinda scared for the whole thing but after awhile i actually calm myself down and actually talk normally.. haha but the performance is great.. everyone did their part to make the 07/07 a great sucess ..

oh btw , my trainer for the march past who's name is jimmy have just gotten married on this very day .. Congrats !

After a long day , serene first took a leave because of she have to work .. and soon after when most of them leave after the drinks .. a few of us still wanted to stay awhile more .. you could say we aint tired at all .. we walk all the way to a restaurant.. haha yups.. a restaurant again.. but it's kinda different .. it offers very unique food .. it's somewhere in arab street .. we have fun chilling out there till quite late.. and for the first time i eat nasi brani with my hands .. lolz.. it was good experience though.. the rice keep falling through my hands.. we play some games.. " dark secrets " too .. dun probe too much cause it's between the 6 of us there .. hehe .. you never knew what dark secret each of us have.. might be too shocking for u guys to even know about it..

anyway , it was great fun that day and we spend the whole day playing chatting laughing.. it'll be quite sometime till we will be back again.. so till than .. bye !
